Nadine Koski

Few artists attempt the challenging craft of encaustic, which is why Nadine Koski was first drawn to this unique art. Encaustics’ beeswax medium requires a unique combination of skill and creativity. Nadine uses the flame of a heat torch to melt and move wax into compositions that include abstract florals and landscapes. Her most recent works include the addition of shellac and alcohol inks that provide a batik-like rendering against a milk white background.

Nadine lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she and her husband built a lofted backyard studio that overlooks her koi pond.
